I was in Target the other day and saw a note next to the Essie display for this polish that recommended to use a white nail polish under it in order to give it more pop. I've been looking for a neon/flourescent pink with an in-your-face/obnoxious feel to it and have not been successful in this quest. When I noticed the tip I figured I might as well give this polish another shot. You can see my first take of Essie Lights HERE (that is with just two coats of polish and no white underneath).
I definitely think this has more of that neon look that I wanted. I applied one coat of white nail polish before applying two coats of Essie Lights.
